If your address is located within the European Union you will have to pay VAT at the current rate of 20%. Certain BFPO addresses as well as such areas as the Channel Islands will not include VAT.
This could be one of the following:
- Card details entered incorrectly
- The Payment Processor we use has had issues contacting your Bank
- The Verified by Visa or MasterCard Securecode System has denied the order due to you entering the wrong details
- There is not enough money in your chosen payment account
We first of all ask you to carefully check your payment details. If you are sure they are definitely right then please retry the checkout process. If you are still having problems it is best to get in touch with your bank to see whether they are having any issues at their side.
Yes it is very safe. When you have placed an order with us using your Credit or Debit card, your details are very securely exchanged with our payment processor who provide a Unique Token which allows you to utilise the same card details as and when you return to place another order with us. Only the last 4 digits of the card number are stored and we never store your CVV2. Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code systems are utilised for that extra layer of protection.

Yes of course. There will be an option when you checkout to select “Collect from Store”.
DPD and Royal Mail have very high standards but of course there are always problems when delivering items, so we can only apologise if you have had any difficulties in acquiring your order. Sometimes parcels are left with a neighbour but if this is not the case and/or you have not been left a card from the courier then please email us or speak to us on our Livechat function as soon as possible so we can investigate this issue for you.
If you would like to see everywhere we deliver to then please check our Shipping/Postage page.
You would need to look at the Shipping/Postage page for more information on pricing to places outside of the UK Mainland.
If your items are being shipped outside of the European Union it is more than likely you will be due to pay some duties. We cannot give exact pricing of this as it depends on the country and value/type of what items you are ordering. All Rounder Cricket accept no responsibility for any Import Duties that are due and they are payable by the customer.
In normal circumstances we do ship to Post Office Boxes, Military Bases or Freight Forwarding Addresses, however we always reserve the right to refuse an order. If this is the case, we will notify you by email that we have cancelled your order.
Returns
At All Rounder we try our hardest to offer the best service possible, and understand that while ordering cricket equipment over the internet can sometimes be a little difficult to judge sizes and colours, we try to offer a returns policy that takes this into consideration. As a result of this we offer either an exchange or a total refund of all goods (except bats that have been knocked in or facing/tape added to them) purchased through All Rounder Cricket Equipment, providing they are returned to us in their original packaging and have not been used, within 14 days of purchase. Cricket bats that have been knocked in or personalised with bat facing or tape will not be exchanged or refunded unless faulty.
On the back of your order form you will have a return section that you need to fill out and send back with your item(s). The returns address is stated on this sheet. We recommend you send the package back to us through a recorded/tracked delivery.
Unless the item(s) you have purchased are faulty or we have sent the wrong items to you then you would have to cover the postage yourself if it was just a straight forward return for instance if the size was wrong or you purely did not like the item(s).
Of course. However, please be aware the refund would be processed using the payment method the person originally used to make the purchase. If it is an exchange you require then just make it clear on the returns form that is the option you would like and specify the new address you would like the exchange sending to.
Once we have received the item(s) back it would take between 3 and 5 days usually for the refund to be processed.
Once processed the funds can take up to 48 hours to be seen in your bank account. If it is any longer than this please feel free to email us where we will be able to assist you further.
Cricket Product Information
Cricket Bats are made from wood (Natural Material) and the bats would normally receive some artificial cracks over time and use. However, if you believe the bat is clearly not up to scratch and not doing what it should then please follow the return guidelines and send it back to us. We will then inspect the item and let you know of what happens next. We usually have to consult the manufacturer which means the process can take longer than the usual 3-5 days a return or refund would. If you have been using your bat for longer than a full cricket season we would never issue a refund under any circumstances.
Here is a chart to help find a correct guide for the correct bat for what this shows how to choose:
The weight of the bat is important and here is a good test you can do to determine which weight you would require. Take your stance and lift the bat up in front of you and then takeaway your bottom hand. If you cannot control the bat in a comfortable stand up position then it is probably too heavy for you to be using. It is easier if you can come to our store and test the bats for yourself but if you order and it is the wrong weight you can always utilise our returns system and acquire the next weight down or whatever you feel necessary, we could also issue a full refund.
Cricket Bats are made with different standards of English Willow normally and are generally graded this way. The more expensive bats will have a higher quality English Willow (Grade 1 being the best), with a better colour across the blade as well as “pinging” off the bat nicely for better feel and touch.
ALL natural faced bats MUST be coated in Linseed Oil or a specific cricket bat oil/wax. This is hugely important as a bat which is not prepared or under prepared is much more likely to split or crack and potentially be unusable. 2-3 coats is usually enough, letting each coat fully dry before applying the next.
Knocking-in is CRUCIAL even if it states in the information the bat has already been prepared for full usage. This compresses the willow in the faces and edges. If knocking-in is performed correctly your bat will have greater protection and be able to be utilised many more times throughout its life with you.
This process is utilised either with a specialist wooden mallet or a high grade old cricket ball. The bat should be recurrently hit against the main part of the hitting area, making sure you also pay particular attention to the face around the toe and edges of the bat. The force should gradually increase as you knock in the bat more. This is a patience process and can take up to 6 hours of fully knocking in but every bat is different.
MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT hit the Splice, Handle, end or rear of the blade! It is now recommend to use against an old ball in nets for example or in a catching environment. If you do use the bat and seam marks are apparent on the face then further knocking in is required.
Unfortunately at All Rounder Cricket Equipment LTD we do not offer sponsorship at this current time. It would be in your best interests to contact a manufacturer whose equipment you enjoy using and asking if they could accommodate your requirements.
